What is Make Me a Novel?
Make Me a Novel is an AI writing studio for planning stories, developing characters, drafting chapters, revising prose, and exporting manuscripts. It is built around isekai and fantasy chapter workflows, and also supports manual writing in other genres and languages.
Can I create an account?
Make Me a Novel is in restricted beta and new registration is paused. Existing authors can sign in. Everyone can explore the public fictional demo without an account.
What happens when I ask the team to write?
The team plans when needed, outlines a chapter, drafts it, reviews voice and story consistency, and updates continuity. You can inspect its activity, pause, cancel, retry a failed task, and edit the result. AI can miss facts or produce uneven prose; review every chapter.
Can I use the files with KDP?
You can export a manuscript in DOCX, EPUB, PDF, Markdown, or text. Make Me a Novel does not submit books to Amazon or certify print formatting, rights, cover dimensions, quality, or acceptance. Prepare and preview final files in your publishing workflow. KDP requires disclosure of AI-generated text and artwork, including covers. Substantial editing of generated content does not change that classification. Authors remain responsible for rights and content quality; check the publisher's current guidelines.
Is generated artwork a finished cover?
Cover generation is currently unavailable. You can upload your own cover image. Add and check final typography, dimensions, resolution, licensing, and your publisher's specifications. A paperback or hardcover needs a complete cover layout with spine and back; a front image alone is insufficient.
How do writing credits work?
A plan uses 0 credits, a chapter 1, a rewrite 1. A failed or cancelled task refunds its reserved studio credits. You choose a maximum chapter count before automatic continuation. Credits are one-time purchases, not a subscription. Manual writing, story edits, imports, and exports use no AI credits.
Can I bring an existing draft?
Import TXT, Markdown, or DOCX. Chapters are appended, and formatting is simplified. Use headings such as “Chapter 1” to separate chapters. Export and keep your own backups.
How does story continuity work?
The story outline, cast, relationships, and continuity notes help guide later chapters. Context is bounded, so the AI does not receive an entire long manuscript in every request. Correct the story notes when details change.
