Manuscript and account privacy
This page explains the data used by the current Make Me a Novel studio. The service operator is Make Me a Novel.
Account and manuscript storage
Make Me a Novel stores your email, name, pen name, password hash or Google identity, sessions, manuscripts, outlines, characters, artwork, revisions, AI task records, credit history, and purchase records in its service database. Account and book APIs require authentication and enforce ownership. The public demo is fictional and does not expose private manuscripts.
AI processing
When you request AI work, relevant story information and bounded manuscript excerpts are sent to the configured AI provider. Generated artwork uses a separately configured image provider. These services process requests under their own terms and data policies. The studio’s Connections view names its current writing provider and model. Manual writing does not itself trigger an AI request.
Sign-in and payments
Account verification and password recovery emails use Brevo or the operator's configured mail service. Your email address and the required account link are processed by that delivery service.
The browser uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. Optional Google sign-in sends you through Google’s authorization flow. Checkout redirects to the selected payment provider; Make Me a Novel records order, amount, credit, and payment status. Do not submit payment card details in manuscript fields.
Minimal product measurement
Make Me a Novel records named actions such as opening the public page, starting an account, creating a story, completing a writing task, exporting, and starting checkout. The browser sends a random identifier and limited categories such as task kind or export format. It does not send manuscript text, prompts, names, or email addresses in these events. Events from a signed-in session may be linked to that account. Source attribution uses broad categories, not complete referring URLs. Do Not Track is respected; clearing site storage resets the browser identifier.
Copies and requests
You can export your manuscripts. Account deletion is not currently a self-service button; contact the operator about access, correction, or removal. Operational backups and transaction records may require separate handling. This page does not promise a retention period or provider confidentiality that has not been configured.
